Our Ceramic Story

Fifteen years of passion, artistry, and community building through the ancient art of ceramics

From Vision to Reality

Country Connection Ceramics began in 2010 when master potter Weston Simmons discovered an abandoned pottery studio in Higden. What started as a personal workspace quickly evolved into Arkansas's most beloved ceramics education center.

Our mission has always been simple: make the therapeutic and artistic joy of working with clay accessible to everyone. We believe that pottery connects us to our heritage, grounds us in the present moment, and allows creative expression that words cannot capture.

Today, we've taught over 2,000 students from across Arkansas and neighboring states, helping them discover their artistic potential while preserving traditional ceramic techniques for future generations.
